Mick really was a great landlord. He was genuine, honest and very efficient. When moving into the house, Mick kindly showed us how everything worked and ensured the place was very clean and tidy (which is not how we found our new house with another landlord). He was very friendly and kind hearted and visited us every now and again to check everything was ok and to see how we were. As soon as something broke or needed looking at, Mick was round as soon as he possibly can, usually the following day. I cannot recommend Mick as a landlord enough, he really was excellent! The house itself (41 Mayville Avenue) had a great location, very near to the local Co-op and a great vegetable shop. Also many corner shops nearby and Sainsburys on your way home from University. The walk to University was only 15 minutes at the most. I loved the house. a new modern kitchen and lounge and all the rooms are a good size with big beds and plenty of work space. During my time at 6 Welton Mount I found the landlord, Mick, to be honest and friendly. The house itself, was nice, and is in a prime location for the town centre and the amenities of Hyde Park. It is less than 30 seconds to the Sainsburys and around 5 minutes to the 24hour Co-op. Which i can tell you, for any student, is a big bonus. The kitchen was also a huge plus, having been fitted recently, it provided a higher standard of equipment and cooking space than i have previously experienced in student housing. Mick was also always available at the other end of the phone, and didn't shy away from any problems, which inevitably crop up through the year. Overall i would say my experience of the house and Mick was very postive and i would recommend him as a good landlord and the house as excellent student accomodation. Nic O'Callaghan
Hi Mick, Thanks for everything last year, you were a great landlord, least I could do is write the reference you asked for. 'You couldn't really ask for a nicer, more efficient landlord. Mick made sure the house was immaculate and in great condition when we moved in and would pop in to say hi occasionally and check we were ok. Whenever we broke anything it was replaced or fixed as soon as we told him about it. There was absolutely no problem with the deposits being returned, he said they would be returned in the second week of July and that’s exactly when we got them. I would recommend Mick to any students, he's a really nice guy, he won't rip you off and he will make sure you live in a good quality, well maintained house, definitely better than our current landlord!' Having dealt with 4 different landlords in 4 years I can safely say that Mick has far and away been the best I have met. He's always at the end of the phone if you ever have any problems and no job is too big for him - just ask! He is very quick to respond to any problems and always welcomes a cup of tea and a chat. If you play your cards right, he'll even buy you a beer! The house itself was fantastic, in good condition and great value for money. Thanks again Mick! David Taylor

As a tenant at Ridgeway Terrace I found Mick to be a friendly and helpful landlord who had a genuine interest in the well-being of his tenants. He was reliable and would come around promptly whenever we had any trouble no matter how small. It was such a weight off my mind to know that I would not have to battle with an agency of landlord for repairs and the return of my bond. Mick is by far the best landlord that I have had in Leeds. Hi Mick, Thanks for the returned bond. Here is the reference. I lived in 37, Hartley Crescent from Sept. 06 - June 07. It is a great house to live in. The rooms are spacious and the house is in a good condition with excellent security. The Landlord is superb. You won't find another one like him in Leeds. He is a trained electrician and used to work for BT. He will respond to any problems straight away and fix them. He even leaves someone for you to contact and his telephone number when he goes on holiday and he wired up our computer network for broadband. He returned our bond in full in good time. I spent four years living in Leeds & Mick was certainly the best landlord I had! I lived in two of his houses & both were well cared for, safe places to live. Mick was always easy to talk to & get along with; always available to solve problems, no matter how small! He was always honest and reliable which is very rare in landlords and I very much enjoyed my time living in his houses! I definitely recommend him as a landlord! You won't find better! To Whom It May Concern I have been a tenant of Michael's for a year and a half. In this time I have had no complaints with him about the house or his manner. He has been careful to respect our privacy whilst always ensuring all necessary jobs on the house were done. Michael has been very gracious about collecting the rent and also generous at times. He does not make extreme demands and is always polite with any request. The house I reside in is well maintained and furnished with many useful items you would not normally expect.
